What the job is

This is a Sales Agent position at The Unlimited Group, working under Global Direct. The job is based in Benoni, Gauteng. You will be selling short-term insurance products on behalf of The Unlimited. This is a permanent role with a focus on sales and customer service.

What you will do

You will actively generate and follow up on leads to find potential clients. You will present The Unlimited’s short-term insurance products professionally to customers. You will close sales and complete all the necessary application paperwork accurately. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service. You will also meet your individual sales targets and report your activities as required by the company.

What you need

You must have at least a Matric certificate (NQF 4) or any higher qualification. You should have proven sales ability or a strong motivation to sell, with experience in insurance or related sales being an advantage. You need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Reliable transport and the ability to travel locally for client visits are required. You should also have a basic smartphone and the ability to use simple sales or admin apps. Only South African citizens with a valid South African ID can apply.

What you will get

This is a fully commission-based role with no basic salary. Your earnings in the first month can range from R6,000 to R12,000, depending on your effort and results, and this can increase over time with experience. You will receive free training and ongoing sales support from Global Direct. The work environment is flexible and entrepreneurial, allowing you to manage your own hours. The annual salary range is between R74,000 and R144,000, with uncapped commission and earning potential.
