This job is for a Revenue Controller at Advtech, a company in the education management industry. You will be based in Sandton, Gauteng, and work full-time in the finance department under Group Shared Services. The role focuses on managing accounting tasks related to revenue processing, ensuring accuracy, and supporting financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and following standard operating procedures for revenue-related tasks
- Handling revenue accounts by preparing bad debt write-offs, small balance write-offs, and compiling lists of debits and credits for approval
- Assisting with monthly reconciliations for revenue accounts, application fees, enrollment fees, and sundry receivables
- Resolving queries within two days by gathering required documents for internal and external auditors
- Supporting special projects, such as the D365 migration
- Providing monthly reporting to keep financial records up to date
- Verifying refund requests and third-party customer data for completeness and accuracy before approval

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) and a bookkeeping qualification
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a financial accountant, bookkeeper, or billing controller
- Experience in a shared service environment and knowledge of D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is advantageous but not required
