What the job is
This is a learnership programme for school leavers in Middelburg, Eastern Cape. You will work with the OVK Retail team to learn about the retail and farming business. The programme lasts for a set time and will help you start a career in this field.

What you will do
You will get hands-on experience in the retail business. You will work with the team to learn new skills and understand how the business works. You will also help with customer service and marketing tasks.

What you need
You must have finished Grade 12. Subjects like maths, accounting, agriculture, or business studies will help but are not required. You must be interested in a career in retail or farming. You must also like working with customers and helping with marketing. Include a copy of your latest school report with your application.

You must be good at speaking and writing in Afrikaans and English. You must know how to use a computer and MS Office. You must be good with numbers and able to work under pressure. You must also be good at working with others.

What you will get
After finishing the programme, you will get a NQF 5 qualification. This qualification is recognised across South Africa and will help you find a job in retail or farming.
