This is a full-time position for a Retail Admin Manager at iStore The Glen Pre-Owned store in Midrand, Gauteng. iStore is Africa’s largest Apple Premium Reseller, offering expert advice, repairs, business solutions, and technical support for all Apple products. The role is based in the retail division, specifically at the Pre-Owned store in The Glen.

As the Retail Admin Manager, you will lead and support a team to ensure both employees and customers have a positive experience. Your main focus will be managing the behind-the-scenes operations of the store to ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal risk. This includes ensuring all store policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed correctly.

You will also be responsible for continuously improving operations by reviewing and updating systems and processes to better fit the business needs. This includes thinking about how to make things work better, whether it’s improving task execution or finding new ways to support the team and customers.

Another key part of the job is ensuring the store meets its targets and goals. You will work closely with different parts of the business to ensure effective collaboration, even across non-direct teams.

To apply for this role, you need to have at least a completed Matric certificate. While not required, having a tertiary qualification (like a diploma or degree) would be advantageous.

You should have at least 5 years of experience leading teams in a busy, high-pressure environment where things change quickly. Experience in retail operations is a must.

The role also requires strong matrix management skills, meaning you should be able to work well with different teams and functions across the business. You need to be comfortable making decisions quickly, adapting to changes, and thinking both practically and strategically.
