What the job is: You will work as a Recruitment Officer for a busy import and export company in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Your main job is to find and hire the right people for different parts of the business. You will manage the whole hiring process from start to finish. What you will do: Handle recruitment for different parts of the company, making sure hiring needs are met. Build and maintain a database of potential candidates for current and future jobs. Follow set hiring processes and keep records up to date. Work with managers to understand their hiring needs and find the best candidates. Conduct interviews, check references, and manage job offers. Use tools like LinkedIn and job boards to find candidates. Track hiring progress and report on key numbers like time to fill a job. Keep all hiring records organized and confidential. Communicate clearly with candidates and managers. What you need: Experience in recruitment, either in-house or at an agency. Ability to use recruitment tools and software. Good communication and organization skills. Experience working in fast-paced environments like import/export or retail. A Matric certificate and a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or a related field.
