Receiving Clerk at Brackenfell Corner

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for a Receiving Clerk to work at their Brackenfell Corner store in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a permanent position responsible for managing the receiving, checking, and organizing of stock to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: - Check and record all incoming goods, verifying against delivery notes and ensuring items are in good condition. - Handle returns for missing or damaged items and complete necessary paperwork. - Process deliveries daily and coordinate with the Receiving Manager for warehouse claims. - Manage stock returns to suppliers and maintain a tidy, organized storeroom. - Monitor high-risk stock and adhere to safety and security protocols.

Requirements: - Matric (Grade 12) qualification. - Proficiency in computer use and basic math skills. - Ability to work during retail hours. - Experience in receiving, retail, or FMCG is advantageous but not required. - Physical fitness to lift heavy boxes (over 20kg). - Strong communication skills in English; bilingualism is a plus.
