This job is for a Receiving Clerk at the Baywest Store in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape. Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for someone to help manage the receiving, checking, and organizing of goods that come into the store. The role is full-time and based at the store location.

Responsibilities:
- Check and record all goods that arrive at the store to ensure they match the delivery notes and company records.
- Scan items, verify quantities, and check for any damage.
- Handle returns and credit notes for incorrect or damaged goods.
- Process deliveries the same day and ensure they are sent to the correct areas of the store.
- Work with the Receiving Manager to log warehouse claims and maintain a tidy and organized storeroom.
- Assist with supplier returns, ensure all paperwork is correct, and maintain security and order in the receiving area.
- Lift and move heavy boxes (sometimes weighing more than 20 kilograms).

Requirements:
- Completed Matric (Grade 12).
- Comfortable using computers.
- Strong math skills and ability to work with numbers accurately.
- Willingness to work during retail hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Experience in receiving, retail, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is a plus but not required.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingualism is an advantage.
- Experience with stock rotation systems is beneficial.
- Physically fit to lift heavy items.
- Reliable transport or residence close to the store.
- South African citizenship, clean criminal record, and good credit record required.
