This job is for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in building construction. A well-known contractor is hiring professionals to work in Gauteng and Cape Town. The role focuses on managing costs, contracts, and financial control for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
- Monitor project spending to ensure costs stay within budget.
- Manage procurement by reviewing quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Handle interim payment valuations, assess variations and claims, and prepare final accounts and financial reports.
- Track project cash flow, liaise with clients and contractors, and identify cost risks to suggest solutions.

Requirements:
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in building construction.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, budgets, and financial control.
- Knowledge of procurement, subcontractor management, and tender processes.
- Experience with interim valuations, payment certificates, variations, and final accounts.
- Proficiency in Quantity Surveying and construction software.
- Ability to analyze numbers, solve problems, and communicate clearly.
