What the job is

This is a Project Manager position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services and investments. The job is based in Cairo, Egypt, and involves managing projects from start to finish for clients across Africa and the Middle East.

What you will do

You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate between clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and decision-making. You will develop project plans, monitor progress, manage budgets, and handle risks and issues. You will also lead project meetings, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and safety standards. Additionally, you will manage procurement, contracts, and changes, and ensure projects are completed and handed over properly.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred. You must have 8-12 years of experience in project management, especially with medium to large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of Egyptian construction laws, building codes, and safety requirements is required. You should be skilled in project planning tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, and have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
