This job is for a Programme Coordinator at the University of the Free State, specifically within the Disaster Management Training and Education Centre for Africa (DiMTEC). The position is based in Bloemfontein, Free State, and is a contract role for five years. Only permanent academic staff already working at DiMTEC will be considered for this job.

As a Programme Coordinator, you will lead and manage academic programmes, including planning and monitoring programme performance, managing enrolment, ensuring academic quality, and developing/reviewing the curriculum. You will also coordinate quality assurance, accreditation, and compliance with university standards. Collaboration with academic staff, students, and industry partners is key to improving programme outcomes and graduate employability. Additionally, you will handle programme marketing, recruitment, and documentation.

Requirements: PhD at NQF Level 10 in Disaster Management or a related field, and full-time permanent academic staff status at DiMTEC. Strong management, communication, and organizational skills are recommended.
