What the job is: This is a temporary production operator position at Adcock Ingram, a company in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. You will check for defects like missing parts, incorrect printing, or incorrect fill volumes, removing any defective units or extra pouches. Additional duties include assisting with material movement and cleaning tasks as outlined in the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP).

What you need: To qualify, you need to have completed Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification. Some workplace experience, ideally 1-2 years, is preferred. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous but not mandatory. Important skills include attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
