What the job is

This is a full-time Product Manager (Brand Manager) role at Pharma Dynamics, a pharmaceutical company based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. The job focuses on managing consumer healthcare brands, including over-the-counter and scheduled medications, to meet sales and business goals.

What you will do

You will develop and implement brand strategies to meet company targets, working closely with marketing, sales, and business development teams. You will ensure all activities follow legal, ethical, and company guidelines, including compliance with the Marketing Code Authority. Your responsibilities include managing budgets, forecasting sales, approving marketing materials, and tracking market trends and competitor activities. You will also attend industry events, train sales teams, and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. Additionally, you will use digital tools like CRM systems and sales apps to support your work.

What you need

You must have a business degree or a related qualification, along with at least three years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, especially with over-the-counter (OTC), Schedule 1, or Schedule 2 brands. Experience in the eye care category is a plus. Strong skills in strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder management are required. You should also be familiar with industry regulations and digital tools used in marketing and sales.
