What the job is

Empact Group is looking for a skilled Plumber to join their team in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a contract position where you will provide professional plumbing services for both residential and commercial properties. You will work as part of the Integrated Facilities Management Solutions team to maintain and repair plumbing systems.

What you will do

You will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, water supply, and drainage. You will diagnose plumbing issues and fix them efficiently. You will perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to stop problems before they get worse. You will respond to emergency call-outs and handle repairs for taps, toilets, valves, and water heaters. You will ensure all work follows plumbing regulations and health and safety rules. You will keep accurate records of work done and materials used.

What you need

You must have a recognized plumbing trade qualification or certificate, and a Red Seal or equivalent will be a plus. You need proven experience in plumbing maintenance for homes, businesses, or properties. You should know how to use plumbing tools and understand health and safety requirements. A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport may be required. You must be able to work independently, communicate well, and manage your time effectively.
