What the job is

This is a Payroll Administrator position at Fidelity Services Group, based in Benoni, Gauteng. The role involves working closely with Area and Operations Managers and reporting directly to Payroll Managers. The main focus of the job is managing payroll tasks for the company.

What you will do

You will ensure that route files are always neat, tidy, and up to date. You will handle daily bookings and resolve posting sheet queries within 48 hours, escalating unresolved issues to your manager. You will follow up on company numbers for bookings and ensure all corrections are submitted on valid posting sheets. You will also process leave, check and capture posting sheets daily, and ensure all pay-related queries are resolved promptly. Additionally, you will submit time books for employees, verify route files, calculate pay rate changes, and process deductions like garnishee orders and maintenance orders.

What you need

You must have at least a Matric certificate, and experience with SAP is a plus. You should be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong administration, organizational, and numerical skills are required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You must be able to work independently, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines. Having your own transport is essential.
