What the job is

This is a Partner Assistant position at Catch, based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The role involves supporting Financial Planning Partners by providing high-quality client services and administrative support to ensure smooth operations in the financial planning practice.

What you will do

You will handle client services by implementing administrative processes, liaising with product providers, and resolving client queries. You will manage client onboarding, including FICA and AML checks, and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete. You will also assist with client transfers, new business transactions, and monitoring commissions. Additionally, you will use systems like XPlan and NAV to maintain client records, prepare reports, and support marketing events. Office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and managing facilities, will also be part of your role.

What you need

You need 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry and a relevant tertiary qualification. Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and XPlan, are required. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of FAIS and FICA legislation is essential, along with organizational and problem-solving skills.
