What the job is: This is a part-time position for a Foundation Phase Lecturer at Emeris, part of Advtech. Emeris combines resources from IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE-Vega School, and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management. The role is based in Roodepoort, Gauteng, and focuses on teaching Foundation Phase modules to students.

What you will do: Deliver engaging lectures, prepare lesson plans, set and mark assessments, provide student feedback, support struggling students, use technology for interactive learning, maintain student progress records, and meet administrative deadlines. Follow quality teaching and assessment fairness standards.

What you need: Bachelor of Education Honours degree (NQF Level 8) or equivalent Postgraduate Diploma in Education with Foundation Phase/Early Childhood Education training. Minimum 3 years teaching experience (school setting preferred). Computer/digital tool proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills required. Classroom management and adaptability to new teaching methods are essential.
