What the job is

This is a full-time position for an OHS Training Facilitator at Impact HR, based in Epping, Cape Town. The role involves developing and delivering training programs to improve workplace safety and ensure employees follow health and safety regulations.

What you will do

You will prepare lesson plans and ensure all training materials and equipment are ready before each session. You will facilitate, assess, and moderate training programs according to company and SAQA standards. You will assist with learner registration and ensure delegates understand assessments. You will create a positive learning environment and strictly follow Occupational Health and Safety regulations. You will also cover various unit standards, including First Aid, Fire Fighting, Forklift Operation, and Working at Heights.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate and at least 5 years of relevant experience. You should be registered as an Assessor and Moderator with TETA, CETA, and HW SETA, and certified as a Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator with ETDP SETA. You need strong knowledge of driven machinery regulations and computer literacy in MS Office. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
