This job is for a Millwright Maintenance Technician at Samancor in the North West province. You will be responsible for keeping machines and equipment running smoothly in a mining environment. The role involves hands-on work to fix, maintain, and inspect machinery, ensuring everything stays safe and efficient.

What you will do:
- Follow strict safety, health, environment, and quality rules to ensure workplace safety.
- Fix machines and equipment when they break down, conduct inspections, and perform regular maintenance.
- Use tools and techniques to diagnose faults, determine causes, and implement repairs.
- Work on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Write inspection reports and maintain records of all maintenance work.
- Implement lockout procedures for safe machine shutdowns and use measuring tools for precision checks.

What you need:
- Matric (Grade 12) or N3 qualification with four technical/business subjects and two language subjects.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar maintenance role.
- Trade certificate in Millwright required.
- Experience with furnaces is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with tools, adhering to safety rules, and solving problems independently.
