What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Middle Manager in Human Resources at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, at Megawatt Park. The role involves providing HR expertise and managing HR processes for a specific business unit within Eskom.

What you will do

You will lead and direct the HR function to improve all HR processes and practices in the business unit. You will ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed correctly. You will provide full HR support and services to the business unit. You will monitor and improve performance by aligning HR processes with the company’s goals. You will also manage the HR department’s resources, including staffing and finances.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or Behavioral Sciences (NQF Level 7 with 360 credits). You must have at least 7 years of experience in the full HR value chain. You should have strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, systems, and legislation, including Eskom’s HR policies and SAP HR. Good communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential. You must also be able to work under pressure, show integrity, and maintain professionalism.
