What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Middle Manager in Business Strategy and Performance at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, at Megawatt Park. The role focuses on planning and managing business activities within the Corporate Affairs Department to improve performance and efficiency.

What you will do

You will lead and manage the department by evaluating monthly performance and communicating results to internal stakeholders. You will maintain the overall performance environment, develop strategies to improve business efficiency, and analyze energy trading data for management decisions. Additionally, you will identify market opportunities, manage customer and stakeholder relationships, and ensure knowledge management within the team.

What you need

You must have a Bachelor’s Degree, BTech, or Advanced Diploma in Information Science, Engineering, or Business Management (NQF Level 7 with 360 credits). You also need at least 7 years of experience in performance data analysis, reporting, and interpretation, preferably in the energy sector. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of Eskom’s business strategies, policies, and data management tools like Power BI.
