What the job is: This job is for a Merchandiser at Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Thavhani Mall, located in Thohoyandou, Limpopo. You will be responsible for keeping the store well-stocked, organized, and attractive to customers. The role involves stock management and providing good customer service to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

What you will do: You will ensure all products are neatly arranged and easy to find for customers. This includes restocking shelves, checking product expiry dates, and organizing stock according to Dis-Chem’s rules. You will handle stock deliveries, unpack boxes, and place items correctly. You will also track low stock, damaged items, and expired products, reporting issues to your manager.

Another important part of the job is assisting customers by answering product queries, managing stock inquiries, and ensuring correct pricing. You will help train new staff, maintain store displays, and ensure the store remains clean and inviting. Physical tasks like lifting boxes and moving stock will be part of your daily work.

What you need: To apply, you must have at least a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate. Retail experience is helpful but not always required. Comfort with using a computer and basic programs like Microsoft Office is necessary. You must be willing to work during store hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
