What you will do
- Do regular checks and maintenance on machines to stop them from breaking.

- Fix machines quickly when they break to avoid long stops.
- Find and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
- Figure out why machines keep breaking and fix the root cause.
- Do electrical work and follow safety rules when turning machines off.
- Weld and build parts when needed.
- Help fix problems with machine controls (PLCs).
- Work with robots and automated machines.
- Help set up new machines or improve old ones.

- Make sure your work does not affect the quality of the products.

- Find ways to make machines work better and last longer.
- Help reduce waste, downtime, and costs.

What you need
- A Millwright trade certificate (Red Seal).
- Extra engineering studies (N3–N6) are a bonus.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a car parts factory.
- Experience with machines like presses, robots, and automated lines.
- Good at fixing electrical and mechanical problems.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Omron, or Allen Bradley is a plus).
- Can read technical drawings.
- Can use computers and maintenance software.
- Good at solving problems.
- Care about safety.
- Have a driver’s license and your own car.
- Can work well under pressure.
