This job is for a Logistics Manager at Pump and Abrasion Technologies, a company in the mining and metals industry. You will be based in Centurion, Gauteng. The role is permanent and focuses on ensuring deliveries happen on time, vehicles are safe and compliant, and logistics costs are controlled.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize daily and weekly delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare delivery loads the day before to optimize truck readiness.
- Combine delivery orders to reduce transport costs and minimize overtime.
- Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays promptly.
- Ensure safe and compliant vehicle loading with proper documentation.
- Manage the Logistics Administrator and Supervisor, assigning tasks and ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance, including forklifts.
- Track fuel costs, delivery expenses, and overtime to optimize savings.
- Conduct weekly team reviews to address challenges and improve efficiency.

Requirements:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience with Syspro software preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Valid driver’s license and personal transport.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Matric certificate with maths (logistics/technical/supply chain certification is a plus).
