What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Logistics Compliance Manager at Bidvest Prestige, based in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role focuses on ensuring that all logistics operations follow company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. You will work closely with teams to maintain compliance in transportation, vendor management, and documentation processes.

What you will do

You will conduct monthly checks to ensure transportation and logistics processes meet company standards. This includes reviewing pickup and drop operations, monitoring on-time arrivals, and verifying vehicle documentation. You will also manage vendor performance, track incidents and corrective actions, and ensure all statutory documents are valid. Additionally, you will prepare compliance reports, communicate findings to stakeholders, and support training sessions to promote a culture of compliance. You will handle audits, track penalties, and ensure electric vehicle fleet compliance.

What you need

You need 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation compliance, vendor management, or a related field. Strong skills in logistics, compliance auditing, and vendor governance are required. You should be proficient in advanced MS Excel, reporting, and data analysis, as well as compliance tracking tools. Good communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential. Experience in a corporate transportation environment is preferred.
