Life Insurance Sales Agent

A financial services company in Johannesburg, Gauteng is looking for a Life Insurance Sales Agent. This job is about selling life insurance to new and existing clients. You will work with people to understand their needs and offer the right insurance plans.

What the job is You will sell life insurance policies to meet monthly sales targets. The company will provide you with appointments from their call centre, so you can focus on meeting clients and closing deals. You will also manage a list of existing clients, making sure they are happy with their policies.

What you will do - Sell life insurance policies and meet sales targets every month - Look after existing clients by checking their policies and updating them when needed - Meet new clients through appointments set by the company - Give clear and helpful advice about insurance options - Follow all the rules and laws for selling insurance - Work with an assistant to handle paperwork and client requests - Keep good records of all client information

What you need - A qualification in finance (NQF 4 with at least 120 credits) or be close to finishing it - A RE5 certificate (this is a must) - Knowledge of insurance laws like FAIS, FICA, and POPIA - Experience in selling life insurance or giving financial advice is a plus - Good communication and people skills - Self-motivated and able to work towards goals
