This job is for a Lab Administrator at SafetySA in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will work in the Chemistry Laboratory to ensure samples are received, recorded, and handled correctly. Your role involves maintaining lab organization, adhering to safety protocols, and processing samples accurately. Responsibilities include receiving and verifying samples, logging them into the LIMS system, labeling and storing samples, and managing sample transportation. You will also maintain company vehicles, support lab compliance with ISO standards, and assist with administrative tasks. Qualifications include Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent, with a preference for degrees/diplomas in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Chemistry. 1-2 years of lab or logistics experience is required. A valid Code 08 driver’s license is mandatory. The role is a contract position with on-site work.
