What the job is

ACDC Dynamics South Africa is a leading company that makes, imports, and sells high-quality electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools. They are looking for an experienced and dynamic Key Accounts Associate – Distribution to join their team in Longmeadow, Gauteng. This person will work with a specific group of important customers in the electrical wholesale and distribution industry.

What you will do

You will build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. You will be the main contact for customer questions, orders, quotes, and product information. You will understand what customers need and find ways to improve service and increase sales. You will keep customers updated on orders, stock availability, delivery times, and shipments. You will handle customer complaints and solve problems quickly and professionally. You will help the Key Accounts Manager with account reviews, customer meetings, and sales plans to grow business. You will also look for new customers and distribution opportunities, promote new products and promotions, and support sales campaigns to increase revenue and market share.

What you need

You need 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, customer service, key accounts, or distribution. Experience in the electrical wholesale, electrical distribution, hardware, construction, or technical products industry is a big plus. You should have experience using ERP, CRM, or sales/order management systems. Experience working with trade customers, contractors, wholesalers, retailers, or distribution accounts is also helpful. You should be able to establish new markets, build new business relationships, and train clients on products.
