A financial services company based in South Africa, offering insurance, investments, legal support, and lifestyle rewards, is looking for a Junior Test Analyst. This role is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and involves supporting the development of solutions, frameworks, and processes by ensuring quality through testing. The position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their career in IT while working with modern technologies and financial systems.

As a Junior Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring software works correctly before release. Your main tasks include creating detailed test cases and test plans based on user needs, performing functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT), identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with developers to verify fixes. You will also explain test results to the team and assist in user training during UAT.

Requirements: 1-2 years of software testing experience (preferably manual testing), knowledge of SQL, Web APIs, and JSON, understanding of SDLC and boundary analysis, and preferably an ISTQB certification. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

The role offers a competitive salary of R240,000 to R276,000 per year, a permanent full-time position in IT, and valuable experience in a growing industry.
