A well-known engineering company based in Northriding, Johannesburg, is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer. The role involves analyzing buildings and understanding structural integrity. Responsibilities include inspecting concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures, using software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Prokon to create drawings and models, investigating structural failures, and writing clear technical reports. Collaboration with architects, senior engineers, and contractors is required. Travel within South Africa may be necessary. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience, proficiency in engineering software, strong English communication skills, and a degree in engineering (BEng/BSc Eng/BEngTech). Salary ranges from R25,000 to R35,000 per month. The position is permanent, with a preferred start date of January 5, 2027, but flexible within 30 days. Own vehicle required due to site travel.
