This is a full-time Junior Designer position at Clarion Printed Products, a company based in Cape Town. You will work in a creative environment focused on designing visual content for both internal marketing and client projects. As a Junior Designer, your main tasks will include creating visual content for internal marketing materials such as digital ads, print materials, social media posts, and presentations. You will also design custom artwork for client projects, which will be applied to printed products like packaging, labels, and promotional materials. Another key part of the job is adjusting product photography and campaign assets to fit different formats and sizes as needed.

You will work closely with clients and internal teams to bring design ideas to life, ensuring that all designs meet the company’s brand standards. This means paying close attention to details like typography, color, and layout to maintain consistency across all projects. You will receive feedback on your designs and be expected to make quick revisions while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

To qualify for this role, you should have a diploma or relevant coursework in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. If you don’t have a formal qualification, a strong portfolio showing your print or product design skills will be considered instead. You must be comfortable using design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Figma. A good understanding of print production basics (e.g., color modes, bleed, and safe zones) and strong communication skills are also required.

This is a permanent position based in Epping, Cape Town, with own transport required. The salary is negotiable, and the company offers mentorship from senior designers. The workplace is collaborative and creative, providing ample opportunities for skill development.
