A company in the vehicle manufacturing industry is looking for an IT System Administrator who specializes in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. The job is based in Boksburg, Gauteng. You will manage and improve their IT systems, focusing on AX 2012, security, and global projects.

What you will do
Manage and support Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. This includes setting up servers, managing user access, and fixing problems.
Improve the AX 2012 system to meet business needs. Keep the SQL database healthy by checking backups, fixing issues, and making sure it runs smoothly.
Handle EDI projects and integrations. Move code and settings between development, testing, and live environments.
Work with consultants and developers to customize the system. Keep the AX 2012 servers and related software running well.
Help with IT support for servers and networks. Train users on how to use AX 2012.
Keep records of IT systems and access controls. Help with disaster recovery and backup checks.
Work on global IT projects and follow instructions from headquarters. Test and document changes to the system.
What you need
A good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Experience with SQL scripting and database management.
Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Dynamics 365 Fundamentals are a plus.
ITIL 4 Foundation and Agile project management knowledge.
Good English communication skills. At least 5 years of IT experience, preferably with ERP systems.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to use a company car when needed.
