What the job is

This is a full-time position for an IT and Data Enablement Lead based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on improving how the company uses technology and data to serve clients better, follow regulations, and make operations more efficient.

What you will do

You will lead the company’s efforts to improve data and technology use across all departments. This includes setting up strong data governance, ensuring data quality, and simplifying business processes to reduce manual work and risks. You will translate business needs into practical workflows, technology solutions, and platform improvements. Additionally, you will assess current technology systems and recommend upgrades, integrations, or replacements. You will also drive digital transformation, automate workflows, and explore AI opportunities to enhance client service, compliance, and reporting. Managing outsourced technology partners and coordinating cybersecurity and privacy activities will also be part of your role.

What you need

You need a relevant degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analysis, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in financial services, especially wealth management or investment administration, is a strong advantage. You should have 5 to 8 years of experience in data management, business process improvement, digital delivery, or technology-enabled transformation. Knowledge of CRM systems, client lifecycle platforms, and system integrations is required. Familiarity with data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance workflows is beneficial. Strong business and commercial skills to connect technology initiatives with client service and operational goals are essential.

What you will get

The salary ranges from R800,000 to R1,000,000 per month, cost-to-company, with performance bonuses included. This is a permanent, mid-to-senior-level position offering the chance to shape the company’s technology and data strategy.
