What the job is

This is a job for an HVAC Technician at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services. The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is a permanent position. CBRE Excellerate helps clients with facilities management, project management, and other real estate services across Africa and the Middle East.

What you will do

You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on chilled-water HVAC systems in facilities managed by CBRE Excellerate. Your tasks will include maintaining and troubleshooting equipment like AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, chilled-water networks, and associated pumps and valves. You will also support district cooling interfaces, record operating parameters, and manage work orders through CAFM systems. Additionally, you will diagnose HVAC faults, recommend corrective actions, and escalate major issues to the Technical Supervisor when needed.

What you need

You should have an ITI or Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, particularly with chilled-water systems, AHUs, FAHUs, and FCUs, is preferred. You must also have hands-on experience with district cooling systems and working knowledge of CAFM systems. Skills in troubleshooting, mechanical and basic electrical fault finding, and understanding HVAC controls and BMS concepts are required.
