What the job is

Eskom is offering a Graduate in Training position in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Security department. This is an internship opportunity based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, for five successful candidates. The role is part of Eskom’s Office of the Group Executive (GE) and focuses on providing training and development in OHS and Security fields.

What you will do

You will receive structured and on-the-job training to develop your skills in Occupational Health and Safety and Security management. Your responsibilities will include working as part of a team, coaching and mentoring others, and ensuring compliance with Eskom’s policies and procedures. You will also be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and work independently with minimal supervision.

What you need

You must have a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Health, Sciences, Security Management, Policing, Forensic Science, Law, Auditing, IT, or Disaster and Safety Management at NQF Level 7 with 360 credits. No prior work experience is required, but you must be a South African citizen. Strong leadership, integrity, professionalism, and computer literacy are essential.
