What the job is

What you will do

You will prepare, clean, and inspect work areas and equipment. You will handle and stage raw materials for production, perform visual inspections of production areas, and check equipment before use. You will also sanitize drains and pipes to prevent contamination, collect samples for testing, and assist with sorting defective products. Additionally, you will complete administrative tasks such as filling out batch records, updating systems, and attending shift meetings.

What you need

You need a Matric certificate (National Senior Certificate or N3) with 0-2 years of related experience. Manufacturing experience is an advantage. You should have basic technical knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes, procedures, and equipment, as well as an understanding of pharmaceutical standards and compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
