This job is for a Fire Protection Draughtsperson to join a well-known fire protection company based in Cape Town. The role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans for fire protection systems. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure accurate and compliant designs.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings using software like Revit and following Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. You will also help prepare bills of materials and technical documents for quotations, ensuring everything meets project specifications and industry standards.

Requirements include 2-3 years of experience in draughting, preferably in fire protection or construction engineering. Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit are required, along with practical experience using BIM workflows. Knowledge of Navisworks and Canute software is advantageous.

The role requires producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings, construction plans, and as-built drawings. Understanding fire sprinkler systems, hydraulic calculations, and relevant industry standards is essential. Good communication, organizational, and computer skills are required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

A valid Code B driver’s licence is also required for this role.
