What the job is

This is a job for a Financial Controller at Hire Resolve, working for a growing FMCG and Distribution company in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape. The role is permanent and full-time, and the company is looking for someone who can start within 30 days of being hired.

What you will do

You will manage the financial administration of the company, focusing on debtors, cash flow, and financial processes. You will also work to improve and automate financial systems to make them more efficient. Additionally, you will support business growth by working closely with the Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams. You will handle debtor management, ensure cash flow discipline, and provide commercial finance support to the business.

What you need

You must have a relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance. You should have proven experience in financial control, managing debtors, accounts receivable, and cash flow. A strong understanding of debtor ageing, DSO, and debt collection procedures is required. Experience in improving and automating financial systems and processes is also important. You need to be commercially minded and confident in working with Sales and management teams on financial performance and overdue accounts. Strong skills in Excel and ERP/accounting systems are essential.

What you will get

The salary for this role is R720,000 per year, with additional performance incentives based on achieving KPIs. The job is permanent and full-time, and relocation assistance may be considered if you can start within 30 days of being appointed.
