What you will do

You will handle the day-to-day financial tasks for the campus. This includes recording financial transactions, managing daily receipts and payments, and ensuring they are entered into the correct ledger accounts. You will also assist with cash sales, perform cash-up procedures, and handle daily banking of all receipts, either electronically or on-site. Additionally, you will provide account statements when requested, process monthly billing for sundry cash receipts, and manage refund requests. You may also prepare handover files, assist with suspending student cards, and direct student or account payer queries to the national debtors team if needed.

What you need

You must have a Diploma in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Financial Administrator. Experience in a higher education institution is preferred. You should be highly skilled in working with financial and numeric data, as well as using Excel spreadsheets. Strong organizational skills, good written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are essential. You must also be service-oriented and able to handle reporting, complaints, and telephone inquiries professionally.
