This role is for a Lead Finance Data Architect at Juru Holdings, based in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will be responsible for designing and managing the finance data systems, ensuring they work well together and meet business needs. The position is a contract role with a term of 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead finance data architecture for Project FiT, ensuring data quality, financial reporting, and consolidation systems (HFM, FDMEE) function smoothly.
- Design data flows, establish data quality rules, and enforce best practices.
- Guide and review work of HFM/FDMEE specialists, validating designs against business/technical requirements.
- Manage a Data Analyst, assigning tasks and ensuring findings support design decisions.
- Improve system integration, set data validation/reconciliation standards, and resolve major data quality issues.
- Represent the team in senior leadership meetings, explaining decisions and dependencies.

Requirements:
- Experience in finance systems, data architecture, or financial consolidation.
- Strong understanding of group reporting, financial close processes, and reconciliation controls.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HFM/FDMEE to direct specialists and identify issues.
- Knowledge of Chart of Accounts, data models, and metadata management.
- Leadership experience managing analysts, setting priorities, and resolving cross-team issues.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
