A well-known national retail and distribution company based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, is seeking a Finance Clerk to join their finance team. This is a permanent full-time position with long-term opportunities. The company operates in manufacturing and retail, requiring support for financial operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable (processing invoices, payments, and customer payments)
- Reconcile accounts to ensure financial records are accurate
- Manage financial administration (filing documents, tracking expenses, assisting with month-end/year-end closing)
- Work with accounting or ERP systems for data input, report generation, and updates
- Utilize Excel for spreadsheets, financial analysis, and management reporting

Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Preferred: Diploma/qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping
- 1-3 years of finance/accounting experience
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial administration
- Proficiency in Excel (data entry, calculations, reporting)
- Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems
- Strong numerical/analytical skills, attention to detail, organization, and ability to work under pressure
