What the job is

This is a Field Trainer position at Smollan, a company based in Johannesburg South, Gauteng. The role focuses on training sales teams about mobile devices and improving their performance in retail stores, call centers, and service provider locations. You will work closely with teams to help them understand and sell mobile products effectively.

What you will do

You will conduct hands-on training sessions on the latest mobile devices and other key products to help sales teams perform better. You will create and mark tests to check if the training is working and if people remember what they learned. You will plan and run training sessions in different locations, including retail stores and service provider offices. You will also track training schedules, manage logistics like equipment and venues, and ensure training meets quality standards. Additionally, you will assess how well staff apply their training in real situations and report on the impact of training on sales.

What you need

You need a Diploma or NQF Level 5 qualification in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field. You should have 2 to 3 years of experience in field marketing, sales training, or a similar role. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to plan, organize, and manage complex schedules. You must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
