A manufacturing company in Cape Town, Western Cape, needs a Factory and Maintenance Manager. This person will manage the factory and keep all equipment running smoothly. You will work with machines like compressors and oxygen systems, fix problems, and lead a team of technicians.
What the job is
You will be in charge of the factory and maintenance work. This includes making sure all machines and systems work well. You will also travel to other places in Africa when needed.

What you will do
- Run the factory and maintenance team.
- Fix and maintain compressors and oxygen machines.
- Find and solve problems with equipment.
- Do regular checks to prevent breakdowns.
- Help with installing and setting up machines.
- Manage and train maintenance staff.
- Work with PLC systems to control machines.
- Write and update PLC programs.
- Use tools to check machine performance.
- Read and create electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Help design and build electrical panels.
- Solve technical problems.
- Travel to other African countries for work when needed.
- Keep the factory running safely and efficiently.

What you need
- A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a factory or industrial job.
- At least 5 years of experience with compressors.
- At least 5 years of experience managing a team.
- Strong skills in fixing mechanical and electrical problems.
- Experience with oxygen machines and gas systems.
- Must know how to program PLC systems.
- Must know how to write software for machines.
- Experience with Delta PLC systems is a plus.
- Good at using AutoCAD for electrical drawings.
- Experience designing and building electrical panels.
- Experience with vacuum pumps is helpful.
- Good at finding and fixing problems.
- Must be willing to travel in Africa.
- Must live in Cape Town already.
- Must start work on 1 September 2026.
What you will get
- A salary between R600,000 and R720,000 per year.
