A well-known building contractor based in Cape Town is looking for someone experienced to lead their estimating team. The role involves preparing accurate and competitive tenders for various construction projects while managing a small support team. Responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, preparing cost estimates using software like Candy or CCS, assessing project risks, and ensuring bids meet contractual standards. The ideal candidate has 10–20 years of experience, a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, and knowledge of NEC and JBCC contracts. Leadership skills and experience with both government and private-sector projects are preferred.
