What the job is

This is a job for an Engineering Field Service Supervisor at Pump and Abrasion Technologies. The company is based in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. You will be leading a team of field service technicians in the mining and metals industry.

What you will do

You will supervise and lead a team of field service technicians. You will schedule and assign work orders to the team and make sure all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. You will provide technical support and guidance to technicians and conduct training and mentorship programs for them. You will also monitor and maintain field service equipment and tools, resolve customer complaints or issues, and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management. You will provide regular reports to management on field service activities.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. You must have at least 5 years of experience in engineering field service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. You should have strong leadership and communication skills, excellent technical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Experience with field service equipment and tools, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required. You must also be willing to travel as needed.
