This is a full-time, permanent job for an Electrical Technician or Technologist specializing in building services. A well-known engineering consultancy based in Bellville, Cape Town, is looking for someone with experience in electrical infrastructure and building services. The role involves working on both public (municipal) and private projects, from early planning stages through to final design and project completion.

**What you will do:**
- Work on electrical infrastructure and building services projects, supporting the team from initial idea to detailed design and execution.
- Manage electrical design work, prepare project documents, and ensure compliance with technical and client requirements.
- Attend client, project team, and manager meetings to discuss progress and next steps.
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, technical specifications, procurement plans, and reports.
- Manage electrical contracts and projects, assist with financial planning, budgeting, and revenue estimates.
- Analyze project needs, solve technical challenges, and use software tools like AutoCAD, Reticmaster, and Relux.

**What you need:**
- BTech degree or National Diploma (NDip) in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical design, construction, or building services.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Reticmaster, and Relux; Revit MEP is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport for Western Cape travel.
- Registration with ECSA as a Pr Tech or Pr Techni Eng (preferred or eligible).
- Strong communication skills in at least two official languages of the Western Cape (English, Afrikaans, or isiXhosa).
