Eskom, a major electricity company in South Africa, is looking for five Electrical Apprentices to join their team in the Northern Cape. This is a permanent job based in areas like Colesberg, Carnarvon, De Aar, Petrusville, and Kimberley. You will work under the Maintenance & Operations department in the GEMMA Cluster. The role involves a three-year training program combining classroom learning and hands-on work experience in electrical engineering, with opportunities to earn a Trade Test certificate upon completion. Key requirements include safety consciousness, responsibility, clear communication, self-discipline, and basic computer skills. Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications: N3 Electrical Engineering with at least four subjects, Grade 12 with Maths (50%+), Physical Science (50%+), and English (40%+) plus an N2 Electrical qualification, or a Technical Grade 12 with electrical engineering subjects.
