What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Dispatch and Collections Supervisor (Late Shift) at BCE FoodService Equipment in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The role involves overseeing the late shift operations to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of products to customers while maintaining high standards and efficiency.

What you will do

You will supervise the late shift team to ensure products are correctly picked, packed, and dispatched on time. You will manage warehouse operations, including forklift drivers, and ensure safety and security of staff, stock, and equipment. You will also handle personnel issues, prepare reports on accidents or equipment problems, and assist in hiring, training, and performance management of staff. Additionally, you will maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate stock flow between departments, and ensure compliance with company and government policies.

What you need

You need a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, supervision, logistics management, and performance management is required. You must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP, Qwix preferred). A valid driver’s license, First Aid Certificate, OHSA training, and forklift certification are highly beneficial.
