What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Dispatch and Collections Supervisor (Late Shift) at BCE FoodService Equipment in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The role involves overseeing the late shift operations to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of BCE products to customers. The supervisor will maintain high standards in warehouse operations and ensure compliance with company procedures to minimize inefficiencies and stock losses.

What you will do

You will supervise the late shift team to ensure products are picked, packed, and dispatched correctly and on time. You will assist in managing warehouse operations, including coordinating forklift drivers, maintaining safety and security, and resolving personnel or equipment issues. You will also prepare reports on accidents, equipment problems, and employee relations, and ensure smooth communication between shifts. Additionally, you will help with inventory control, stock management, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, supervision, logistics management, and performance management is required. You should have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Qwix. A valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and OHSA training are highly beneficial.
