What the job is

Eskom is hiring two Data Processing Officers for its Distribution Division. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, at the Megawatt Park office. This is a permanent position in the Edx Serve Department, focusing on managing data and ensuring high data quality in business operations.

What you will do

You will work closely with managers and teams across different departments, including Network Services, Electricity Delivery, Capital Programme Management, Customer Services, and IT. Your role involves managing and improving data processes, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting business functions with reliable information. You will also collaborate with data managers to maintain and enhance data systems.

What you need

You must have a National Diploma in Information Management, Engineering, Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Business Management, or Office Administration (NQF Level 6 with 240 credits). You also need at least 3 years of experience in data management, data manipulation, and working with Microsoft Excel or databases. Strong analytical, communication, and planning skills are required, along with a good understanding of business processes and customer service.
