This job is for a Data Engineer to join a technology company based in Johannesburg. The company creates digital platforms, websites, apps, and online stores for small and medium-sized businesses. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Azure technologies. Responsibilities include creating API connections, handling large data volumes, and developing Power BI reports/dashboards. Tools used include Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Power Automate, Power Apps, and GitHub for CI/CD. AI tools will also be utilized for solution development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3-5 years of Data Engineering experience, strong skills in Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, CI/CD, GitHub, and API/ETL processes. C# is advantageous but not required.
